What's to be said about a cheerful, spunky, and clever twelve-year-old Airbender? That he's the last of his kind, he's been asleep for over a hundred years, and that he is the one known as the Avatar - Master of all elements?
     Discovered by Katara, a fourteen year old, and her older brother, fifteen year old Sokka near their Water Tribe, asleep in a block of ice, he must conquer the elements and face off against Fire Lord Ozai and defeat him before the Sozin Comet comes or else the world will fall to the Fire Nation.

      This is Aang, the main hero of the story and the latest incarnation of the Avatar. He was discovered, while being raised by Monks, to be the Avatar when he was younger. Before then, he was an average young airbender who lived in the Southern Air Temple. As the Avatar, he is able to use the four elements as well as become a medium of spirituality. Well, he's supposed to but since he's still so young, he's still training. Not much is known about his family but we get glimpses of his past lives - Kyoshi, a beautiful woman with the powers of Earth, and Roku - his previous reincarnation with the powers of Fire.

AGE: 12 years old (+ 100 years that he was asleep)
ELEMENT: Air (Primary), Water (Learned first), Earth (Learned second), Fire (Currently learning) - Last three secondary elements to his nature
LIKES: Katara, Penguins sledding, flying
DISLIKES: Fire Nation, Losing those that he cares about
PERSONALITY:
      Normally upbeat, Aang is a clever if somewhat dense boy who tends to be overzealous and quite friendly. However, he can have his serious moments and is the best airbender to date (despite that he is the ONLY one left). He has a crush on Katara (which is returned :D) and gets along with Sokka. With Toph as his teacher in the element earth, she has helped him better his own self.
Other Abilities: He can go to the Spirit World as well as emcompass previous reincarnations (EX Kyoshi, Roku)
Special Markings: Blue arrows over his skin, predominantly his head (up from his spine to his forehead ending in the point), and arms (down the outside to end at the back of his palms); DOES have hair - dark brown colored that he has to shave in order to be bald.
