Katara is a swift, intelligent woman who is the last Waterbender to exist. Living with her brother, she adhers to a motherly role but knows when to fight and sometimes can be overcome by her own emotions.
     With her travels with Aang, Sokka, and all the others, she learns more about her own abiities and best of all, what feelings live in her heart and how she can be better for it.
