Suki is a Kyoshi Warrior, based on the Avatar Kyoshi on Kyoshi Island. First seen in episode four of Book One: Air - The Warriors of Kyoshi, she shows herself as a skillful warrior both in mind and body despite that she's a girl.
We see Suki often, with her painted face as well as her normal look and she becomes the love interest for Sokka, eventually the two becoming a said couple. She helps teach Sokka to see that gender doesn't always work when catagorizing abilities. She has proven that she can fight just as well as any man.

Suki knows how to be a girly type of person but has been trained well to be a fighter and has a strong sense of right and justice because of it. She believes wholeheartedly in the ways of the Avatar Kyoshi and in Aang.
