Episode Title: The Boy In the Iceberg

Summary:
      Sokka and his younger sister go out in the waters to hunt for fish for their tribe. Having enough trouble with each other, not to mention looking for food, Katara notices a strange iceberg and something makes it 'melt', to reveal a strange figure.
      Meanwhile, Prince Zuko is on the search for the person who is called the Avatar. He is joined by his uncle Iroh and is under the protection of his guards and is of the Fire Nation. Prince Zuko is having a discussion with his uncle, who is playing a game.
      Katara and Sokka meet Aang, a cheerful twelve year old airbender who asks Katara if she wants to go penguin sledding. Katara is interested but Sokka isn't as trusting to someone who just emerged from a block of ice. Aang momentarily goes off and the two Water tribe teenagers meet Appa, Aang's flying bison. They learn Aang is a Airbender when he sneezes and launches high into the air. He offers them a ride on Appa's back to head back home, to the Southern Water Tribe. Not far away, Prince Zuko and his ships are nearing the tribe.
      Aang has fallen asleep and into a 'nightmare' and how he became 'locked' in the iceberg. He actually had placed himself into it. He wakes up and Katara has him meet Gran Gran, her and Sokka's grandmother, and the rest of the tribe where Aang then shows off his flying abilities with his fan. He then promptly ends up smacking into a looming rock pillar when he was distracted by Katara.
      Uncle Iroh is training Prince Zuko but Zuko is not pleased and is acting impatient. Uncle Iroh tries to talk to him but has no luck with calming the Prince down.
      Sokka is trying to teach the younger children (who are actually much more younger than he is) to fight. But they're distracted by Appa who lets the children play with his tail. Sokka is in protest, Katara rolls her eyes, and Aang is about to make it up to Sokka when he spots it - a penguin. It's discovered to be a huge group and he tries to find one to go sledding on but has no luck. Katara hands him a fish and he's almost instantly swarmed by penguins.
      Aang finally finds a set and he and Katara go sledding. On the fun trip, they come across a ruined Fire Nation ship. Upon exploration, an alarm is triggered and the two are locked inside. Prince Zuko sees the ship and finds Aang carrying Katara out from the top to safety. At that moment, he knows who Aang is and heads off to capture the Avatar.
