It's been several long centuries since the disaster against the Black Moon clan and the warlord Nemesis. Time has passed as Crystal Tokyo was rebuilt from its foundation and Neo Queen Serenity yet again stepped back into her castle as the time of peace fell over the Earth.
But peace is so easily shattered. The legendary senshi have disappeared from humanity's sight but their heirs have risen. Eight new soldiers are taken to the task of protecting Crystal Tokyo, Earth, and their future Queen, Lady Serenity.
And with these new legends comes an old enemy. Death Phantom may have had been destroyed but those of Nemesis, now trapped on a dying world, have managed to lead themselves to Earth, to avenge what they've lost and to claim Earth as their new home.
