Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Divine
Chapter Three - Coronation

Two separate groups, two separate teams, on the same side figuratively but were on opposite ends of the looming insides of the Mirai Millennium. Kousagi led her friends out and further into the large, crystal castle, where the ball was just beginning.
Tendouko moved more leisurely, less enthused to enter the room, to watch her sister, once more, get all the glory.
And in the center, above the glass covered skies, Sailor Cosmos waited with the young girl, Eros, patiently sitting in the empty quiet of utter nothing.

"I can´t believe this..." Fingers wracked over a crystal ball. It was translucent, glowing dim blue. The nails were painted blood red, the fingers adorned by numerous rings that glittered wildly. The nail polish was in stark contrast to the pale, flawless skin, a light sheen of illness clinging foolishly to the lean, willow woman.
Her bronze hair were tied up in round odangos, trailing down to puff out just before getting tied by a thick red band, the band edged in yellow beads. Her tiara on top of her head was harvest gold and curved upward at the sides, the center pointed with a red diamond in it. She bore the sign of the White Moon, adorned with round beads, one on each side as well as inside the crescent moon. Her earrings, of a yellow crescent moon with red oval gems dangling that were nearly hidden by the long pulled curl that ended just past her chin.
Her red eyes glittered, rage brewing as her shoulders shook, her teeth gnashing. Her earrings swung to her violent shaking. She was dressed darkly, a black, transparent cape attached loosely to her shoulders, chained in the front by two lines of small beads. It trailed down her back to end at her hips. Her  violet dress was tight fitting, loosening just past the hips. It was strapped and dipped into the valley between her breasts. The top edge, including the straps, were red and it met  a red band around just underneath her breasts. From this red band dangling bronze yellow beads, all the way around her body. Around her hips, she wore a harvest gold layered belt, that pointed down first at the left side, then the right, than finally ending at a v at the bottom. The bottom edge of the wrapped belt was detailed by black swirls and round dots, alternating with each other.
"I will not allow this.. these filthy, worthless things.." Her eyes narrowed, focusing upon that of Kousagi. "Princess... a princess and a soldier.. blessed by powers. MY powers.." She hissed. Her nails dragged, screeching on the orb as she closed her eyes, her whole body shaking now with anger and hatred.
"And one of them has it.." Came the whisper, thick and forced from her. Her eyes opened slowly, gleaming dully. "Oh, I will finally have it returned. It will be mine again.."
Her focus changed, as she wiped a hand over it, the reflected vision changing to a more dim, blurry vision. A woman, nearly undistinguishable save for a golden crescent moon upon the brow, locked in a circlet and chained around her hair by white beads. She turned and blue eyes flared into existence, momentary blankness overshadowed by the sudden fear and realization of being seen. And then the vision blacked out as the woman´s malicious smile was wiped from her face.
"Sister.." the woman hissed, rage once more brimming. "Oh.. you can run but you cannot hide from I nor Father. We will finish what we started!" She howled before turning around sharply, her dress filtering out as she looked around. She was surrounded by nothingness but then, she could make something out of that, she knew that all too well.
"My precious children... come to me, my faithful Shades! Hemera! Aether!"
Two shadowed figures, one small and childlike, the other almost fully grown, sucked out from the ground. Their features blacked out, the only thing to see were the identical single wings. The taller had it jutting from the right side, a off white. The other had a black wing straightening from the left shoulder.
"You know what to do," the woman turned toward the orb. "I will get what I want. I am the Goddess Erebus, the daughter of Chaos. Only I am allowed such wonderful, frightening powers. It is mine, all mine!" Her fingers once more dug into the orb, the nails cracking under pressure. "I will return everything from whence it came.. I will purify this decadent wasteland..."

A woman ran hurriedly into the castle. She had entered through the back way, her air caught in her chest. "It´s here! She´s here! I can feel them both!"
Her hair was yellow, up into two sets of odangos, tied together by a band of white beads, that each had two sets of white beads trailing. Her heart shaped bangs were dipped in pink and her odangos were striped in pink. She had thick tufts at the sides of her face, also dipped in pink. Her golden yellow crescent moon was surrounded by a yellow band, attached to white round, small orbs that trailed to a larger orb just above the first bangs between the parts. From this orb a string of white beads wrapped around her head.
She was pale skinned, her blue eyes seemingly too bright as she swerved, the panic abating a little. She wore a sky blue dress, wrapped around the shoulders with the tops ruffled from a laced yellow ribbon. Around her neck was as two layered light blue beaded necklace. She had off the shoulder sleeves to the dress, the bottom also laced by a yellow ribbon, the edge also ruffled. From each sleeve, with a slit along the middle front view of the arm, it elongated toward the back, a transparent yellow, silk fabric.
In the middle of her chest was a tightly tied section of mesh, outlined by blue ruffled fabric. Her waist was tied down by a yellow metal band, dipped down into a point in the front view. The skirt of the dress billowed out and fell down heavily to trail over her feet.
"I don´t know what to do anymore.." She leaned against the wall, a sudden wave of exhaustion claiming her. "I don´t think I can do this.. I´m so tired. Sister, I need you now.."
"Nyx-mama?" Eros appeared. "Mama!" She ran to the other woman, wrapping her arms around the thin waist. "I was worried about you!"
"Oh.. Eros, my beautiful child," Nyx could no longer hold herself up, her legs giving out. "Oh.. I´m so sorry for this mess. So very sorry.." Nyx sobbed, wrapping her arms around the girl. "It´s my fault.."
"No, it´s not," Sailor Cosmos spoke gently.
"Cosmos.." Nyx looked up. "You´ve nearly reached that level.. I can feel it."
Cosmos´s eyes closed momentarily, blocking the surge of pain. She reopened them, focusing upon the woman. "Nyx, you need to be in safety. Leaving your sanctuary isn´t a good idea."
        "I decided.. I couldn´t just stand by.."
"But you refuse to fight," Cosmos looked more sad than ever. "Nyx, this is a battle to be fought. Your prayers won´t work here."
"You´re wrong," Nyx looked up at the window, seeing the star-filled skies. "They worked once, they will work again. I just need the right moment."
Sailor Cosmos looked up, hearing the sound of a bell. "The ball.. it´s beginning."
Eros instantly took off. "Eros!" Cosmos reached out, already panicking. "What will she do?" She asked Nyx.
"Bring love.." Nyx had watched the fading back of the violet-haired girl, a smile tugging. "That is her purpose.."

"Introducing the Princesses of the Silver Millennium of Crystal Tokyo, Princess Serenity and Princess Tranquility!" The two sisters stood next to each other. Both had wide smiles straining their lips as both glanced momentarily at each other.
"Thank you for coming," Kousagi said warmly as she lead the way. Tendouko merely nodded her head, her tongue gone suddenly dry. "I do hope you have a wonderful time!"
They arrived at the point where their parents stood. King Helios raised his hands slowly, the crowd silencing easily. "Today is a special day! The day where my precious daughter is finally grown!"
He beckoned her to him. "Tsukino Kousagi, Princess Serenity, today is the day of your coronation.." He turned and brought forth a familiar necklace from her mother, whose eyes were wet as her lips trembled.
He placed her henshin necklace around her neck as she let out a sudden gasp, energy cascading into her. Her body changed into a brilliant rainbow of hues, her crescent moon forming as her princess dress reformatted, the same but her body throbbed with new power.
"Happy birthday, Princess," Helios whispered gently. "Everyone, let us welcome our Crowned Princess and our first official Sailor Senshi since olden times!"
The room broke into cheers as Tendouko´s face blanked out. Her teeth gritted, her lips pinched. She tried so hard to be happy for her elder sister but the anger of always being in her sister´s shadows, always knowing that Kousagi was accepted but she herself could never be. Her tears fell as her shoulders slumped in defeat. ‘A failure.. that´s all I...´
She turned at the touch, a warm sensation as Eros looked up at her. "Who are you?"
Eros merely smiled. "I´m a friend, Tendouko. I can show you the love in your heart. It´s hidden so deep underneath your pain that you´ve forgotten it´s there..."
Memories surfaced, of playing dolls with her sister, learning to dance together, having the same tutors. But then all she remembered were the times she had been left alone, Kousagi always having some kind of excuse to leave.
"No!" Eros looked frustrated. "No, she loves you! You love her!" She spoke venomously as Tendouko looked down in surprise before slowly smiling.
"Thank you.." She wrapped her arms around the small girl. "You´ve gave your best... but this is something for me to work out."
"But Tendouko, you´re not alone.." Eros looked up with watering eyes. "Everyone has someone, don´t forget that.."
Tendouko turned toward the scene, her sister dancing with one of the guests. She fidgeted, turning to talk to Eros again but the small girl was gone.
"Mama!" Eros was beside Nyx. "What´s wrong?"
"She sent Shades... They must be awaken properly.." Nyx collapsed, her chest heaving. "Oh. I´m so... sorry.. Eros.."
        "Mama.."
A sudden onslaught of screams from the opposite side, causing a ripple in the crowd. Instantly people began to run out, panicking, trampling each other to get out fast.
"No!" Eros turned around, seeing those she wanted to see. She zoomed in on Kousagi. "You have to transform!"
Kousagi nodded. She cried out, "Moon Luminous Power, Make Up!" just as the line of shadows pinpointed her, zipping toward her. She felt them grasp her and throw her down, no reaction from her necklace to show she had said anything right.
"NO!" Tendouko screamed, seeing her sister being swallowed up, her father wrapped around her mother as the shadows continued forth over them. "No.. No.. what am I supposed to..."
"Little Princess.." She turned, Sailor Cosmos in front of her, her eyes warm and full of emotion. "Please... become the one you were supposed to be.."
Tendouko´s eyes widened. "I was supposed to be?"
Sailor Cosmos reached out, a single finger against Tendouko´s breast. "Sometimes we are not what we seem but inside us always exists that power, that we can use even in the simplest forms. Tendouko, I blessed you before you were even born.. I knew you would be of great things. But you have to believe in others and that others believe in you!"
Tendouko´s hand grasped the other woman‘s. "I... was blessed.." Tears fell down as her voice broke. "I wasn´t forgotten?"
Sailor Cosmos smiled wetly. "You will never be forgotten. You have the most important thing that I treasure the most.. Your heart.." Her hand pulled away, a line of energy glittering as Tendouko turned. It seemed as if only a moment had passed in their talk. She took a deep breath, straightening her shoulders.
‘I swore to do my best in everything that I could possibly do. I am a Sailor Senshi.. no matter what those against me say, I won´t fail! I won´t ever fail!´
Energy billowed from her clasped hands, a beaded chain with a multi-pointed golden star charm forming. She placed it around her neck with resolution.
"Terrene Divine Power, Make Up!" Energy, golden yellow and hot, wrapped around her to form into a crystallized orb. It strengthened before shattering into ribbons, wrapping around her body to form her fuku. Her eyes slowly opened as the final bits of energy wove into her symbol, a yellow tiara forming around it.
She wore golden yellow beads, four in a set that dangling, shrinking the more down it went. Her choker was light blue, with a round orb in it´s center, of her insignia from her forehead replicating as the round orb at her throat, as well as her brooch and waistband, save the waistband had the addition of a yellow crescent moon cupping the bottom half whereas the other two replicas didn´t have that.
Her collar was bronze yellow, without any decorations. She didn´t have shoulder rolls, merely loose light blue fabric that billowed out ruffled. Both bows were the same; the top halves were light blue, the bottom halves white, and there were additional dark brown long tails coming from over the bows. Her bodice was white and full-figured, her waistband a flat light blue that dipped in the middle of her front. She had two skirt layers, the top was bronze yellow and the bottom one was dark brown.
She had dark brown gloves that reached to her elbows and ended in two round bands. The topmost band was light blue, the lower one was white. She had knee high boots, heavy and dark brown with a flat edge. This edge was lined in yellow metal, with light blue ruffles peeking above. Wrapped around each boot were crisscrossing bronze yellow bands.
She stood poised, her body rigid for a moment before she turned her attention the shades. "Hey! Get away from my family!"
She lunged and was thrown back effortlessly by the shades. Seeing more energy for use, they overcame her as she was swallowed in darkness.
‘No.. no! I need to do something!´ She struggled to do anything, to move but her body was getting heavier and heavier.
‘Darling Terrene...´ A voice, soft and masculine and eerily familiar, vibrated through her.
        ‘Like Papa... but someone else..?´
A light glinted in front of her, shimmering into something she recognized. ‘The Golden Crystal!´ She gasped inwardly.
It formed into a blade, an arm length weapon with a black handle, a light blue orb at it´s bottom edge, the top curving out to form a top similar to a heart. The curve wrapped around a light blue orb on each side, as the crystal shrunk and fit just before the beginning of the curve, below the orbs. The blade itself was slate gray, with a oval yellow gem at its bottom and the sharp edged teethed in yellow, with a long line separating each ‘tooth´.
She grasped it, the light billowing out as the shades screamed, fleeing from the draining sensation.
"I am the Divine sailor soldier of our beautiful Earth, Sailor Terrene! In the name of Mirai Tokyo, I will salvage this world and keep its beauty thriving!"
She aimed first at her sister and swung her blade in a wide arc, belting out crescent moons of white hot energy that had the Shades fleeing. "Kousagi!"
She did the same to her parents, watching the Shades flee back further in the room.
"How dare you attack my family! Who do you think you are?" Sailor Terrene glared darkly.
The shades began to loom in the air. "Don´t think so!" She attempted another attack but this time, it back lashed on her, her body falling on her knees as the exhaustion claimed her. "No.."
"Tendouko!" Kousagi cried out passionately before turning. "Now it´s time for me!"         Sailor Terrene´s head snapped over. "NO! NO NO NO!" She screamed, her crescent moon shining brilliantly. "THIS IS MY FIGHT!"
She stood up on watery legs, glaring with dark emotion at her sister. "I won´t be saved by you... not by the perfect, most wonderful.." The anger she kept so tightly locked, unleashed by her newly found energy, was possessive. "I don´t need you..." She hissed before she became aware of it.
Tears dripping from her eyes, washing over her cheeks as she shook her head. "I did everything right," her voice was painful. "I tried so hard.. I just want to be the one to save.. I don´t want to depend on you!" She ended in a scream.
Kousagi was stunned into bewildered silence. Tendouko´s tantrum had a downfall, the Shades regrouping and attacking her.
"TENDOUKO!" The younger sister turned, her eyes shining with defeat.
"Eros Divine Illumination!" A familiar figure cried out, wings of light forming before it dissolved into feathers, looming out as the light hit the Shades as well as Tendouko.
"NO!" Kousagi and their parents watched in shock as the girl was engulfed in the light.
‘Tendouko... Tendouko, where are you?´ A younger Kousagi was sobbing, lost yet again only deep within the recesses of the castle. She had been chasing her sister but now the two of them were lost and separate. ‘I need you... I need you, Ten-chan. I don´t want to be alone...´
‘Kousagi..´ Tendouko felt pain fill her as the vision altered in hues of dull colors.
‘I don´t understand, why would she do this?´ Lady Serenity was wringing her hands, her eyes wide as she gazed down at Kousagi playing in the gardens. ‘They´re both soldiers but Tendouko..´
‘I don´t quite understand either,´ Helios murmured. Hidden from them, a yet younger Tendouko was listening, confusion on her small face. ‘If she wasn´t supposed to be a senshi, why did she give her such a crystal?´
‘I don´t know. It´s bad enough people say that my youngest daughter is a fraud. They will never accept her...´
‘Will never accept me..´ Tendouko closed her eyes again, the words lashing at her at the open wounds over her heart.
‘Kousagi! Time to train! Where did she go?´ The teacher frowned angrily. ‘Not again!´
Tendouko was pulling the shirt of the man, saying hopefully, ‘I can train!´
‘Haven´t time for you,´ the teacher pulled away, glowering. ‘I´m looking for the Princess.´
‘But I´m... a Princess..´ Tendouko trailed off as she was, once again, left alone. Not for long as Kousagi appeared in front of her.
‘I´m sorry, Tendouko, that he´s so mean. I´m going to ask Momma for one for both of us..´
‘Really? Why would you do that for me?´ Tendouko wiped at her tears, once more confused.
As Kousagi smiled brightly, she aged suddenly into that of her current age. ‘Because Tendouko, you´re my sister and I believe in you.´
Sailor Terrene´s eyes opened slowly, the pain leaving her as a warmth filled her. The light faded out as she realized that the shades were gone. She turned slowly, seeing Eros as a sailor senshi. The fuku disappeared too soon, Terrene unable to get the details of it.
"Eros..." The fuku melted away into her Princess dress, Tendouko grasping her arms, shaking violently.
"Ten-chan.." She felt arms wrap around her.
‘You think she´s as happy as you seem to think she is?´ Duscha shook her head. ‘So much responsibility. She needs to have your support, not just as a sister but someone who should have faith in her and herself.´
"I´m sorry... I was just so jealous.." Tendouko grasped her sister, breaking into sobs.
"No matter what, Ten-chan, we´ll pull through. We can save each other..." Kousagi promised, hugging closely. "Don´t worry, Tendouko. I´ll always believe in you."
