CHAOS FINALE
Episode Fourteen: Forgiving What You´ve Lost and Yourself

Story settings; Liv runs, from herself and the changes she´s experiencing in her own self. Terrified, lost, and confused, she finds herself faced with Vulcan, who attempts to coerce her into his side only to find Liv rescued by both Allete and Meguinis. But it´s a hard lesson for all when one of the twins try to fight on their own.

Opening
Liv has awakened from her sleep, feeling drained even as she moves sluggishly around before leaving the house in the early morning. Afraid to speak lest she break, she tries to take a run and figure out how she became a part of a love triangle.

Liv´s eyes opened up, blinking slowly as she tried to take in what had happened the night before.
There was something about a Rogue but something else had happened, that she nearly missed and had wanted to.
"I feel like we´ve met before. Isn´t that strange?"
        "No, it´s not strange."
Her fingers tightened on her pillowcase, fresh tears threatening to pool down her cheeks. She tried to breathe, finding the air stale and rather uninviting.
"No chance.." She whimpered. "Oh, God, why did this have to happen? God! I´m so fucking stupid!"
She rolled up to a sitting position, trying to get control of her hotwiring emotions. Emotions that she had been holding in for a long time. She had thought at one point that she was merely hollow.
‘But apparently love does really hurt. There was nothing healing about it at all,´ she noted darkly.
Dragging herself from her bed, she looked at it before shrugging. Why make a bed since she has to lie in it? She grabbed some clean clothes and took a cold shower. She was shivering but feeling a mote better, though it dried away as she allowed her thoughts to stray.
She tried to think of something else. She focused on Tacita, the hollow eyes easily overpowering the young girl´s facial features. And then the shot of her, holding her head in pain.
Liv couldn´t help but remember her awaken state nightmare, how that she sensed something else there, a sadness. She wanted to know why Tacita had gone to Sailor Chaos, because she felt in her bones that Tacita had a very good reason.
But of course, she had to leave the house in order to find Tacita. Once out, however, Liv realized that she´d have no choice but to give up on that notion. For one thing, she didn´t know where to look, and second, Tacita hadn´t exactly seemed interest in getting help. Wasn´t the whole point of getting help was when the person was at their breaking point and they finally asked?
Liv sighed, rubbing her face as she squatted, stretching her legs. She used to run as a teenager, in an attempt to free her mind. It allowed her better to think but she found that besides that annoying factor, she was almost free when she felt the wind blow through her hair.
She took after a while, the sun rising lazily into the skies as she breathed in the warm air. The night before had been colder than usual but maybe it was the interaction with the evil beings. She snickered as she turned a corner.
Gwydion floated into her head as she passed by her college. Liv saw his eyes, those beautiful eyes, shimmering in her mind. She wished she was strong enough to tell him but what was the point? She felt depression crawl up her heels as she thought of how that the first time in her life, someone brought light to her life? Just by being near him, she felt more like her true self, not like the shell that she had become.
And he was in love with Perdita. A beautiful, true friend who didn´t want to hurt anyone and tried so hard to not show that she liked Gwydion as well. Soul mates, that word stung at Liv as she felt the tears gather again.
She wished she could go back to being a shell. She didn´t want to feel, didn´t want to be the third wheel or third corner in a pyramid. Especially when there was just nothing there for her to get. She wouldn´t get love from Gwydion, she didn´t want to lose her new friendship with Perdita, she just couldn´t win at all.
"Not fair.." She stopped on the dirt path, unaware of how far she had ran or for how long. Her legs were protesting loudly as she rubbed her face with the back of her right hand.
"Life tends to be unfair," A masculine voice came from behind her. Doyle rested his expensive looking bike on the battered fence, watching her with some interest. Liv blinked, trying to think of who he reminded her of.
It had to be someone dangerous if the fear igniting in her had any truth to it.
"My name is Doyle Can, I go to the community college nearby here."
"I´m…Liv Tavor." Liv stepped back when he took a step forward. His smile changed very slightly, as his eyes became hooded.
"Life´s just not fair, right? I mean, I lost my parents as a child," He changed his face accordingly, looking a little saddened as his voice ebbed in false grief. His eyes continued to look rather cheerful. "Of course, my father´s death was my doing but what can I say? My mother condemned me with her illness. Rotting from the brain, oh boy, that´s so much fun."
Liv moved backwards. "Who are you? Stay away!"
"You must want something, right? Come on, don´t be daft, little lost, we all lose in the end." Doyle´s smile was twisted, his eyes dimming with any but the darkness that was him. "I can make it so that you get what you want, so you´re not worthless.."
"I said leave me alone!" Liv turned to run only feel fingers biting into her forearm.
"Don´t you dare turn from me!" Doyle snarled. Power escalated as he became Vulcan wordlessly. "I will purge all those against the great Goddess! Join or be destroyed!"         "I´d rather die!" Liv snarled back.
"Easy enough," Vulcan whispered, his hammer forming in his fingers. "Don´t say I didn´t do you any good!" He laughed manically. The chains spread out, whipping around like a lasso as Liv took off. She felt the ground under her rumbled at the chains gouged into the earth.
"I.. I have to transform.." She gasped. She continued to run, her lungs burning. She knew she couldn´t fight though. She didn´t have it in her to fight, only that one stupid blocking attack.
She felt the wind tear at her side, sending her into the fence as her shadow jutted from the earth, swelling over her like a tide as Vulcan´s laughter rang in her ears.
        "NO!"
        "Phobos.."
        "Deimos.."
"War Cry!" Twin shouts as Allete and Meguinis, respectfully as Phobos and Deimos, attacked.
Vulcan covered his ears as a deafening ringing came to Liv´s hearing. The two became alit in fire that blazed forward in a gigantic, single arrow, taking everything with it in its path.
Vulcan managed to uncover one ear to spin his hammer into a momentary blur of motion. The fire dispersed around him as he grinned widely.
"Is that the best, oh, foul beasts of the cold light? Nothing to the greatness that is Chaos!" He howled.
"Wanna bet!" Deimos shouted. "Deimos Terrifying Siege!" Power escalated as fire lapped around Vulcan, erupting from his shadow in shadowed forms of ghoulish men. The power turned hotter as Deimos gasped in air.
What had been a simple attack became far more powerful than she could control it. Vulcan screamed in literal pain the flames suddenly covered him and spread outward, taking the fence, grass, and very few trees, melting into cindered dust.
"Deimos!" Phobos screamed at her sister as the other girl passed out, transforming back into Meguinis. "No!"
Phobos turned at Vulcan staggered forward, his body burned badly. "You.. Fucking.. BITCH!" He screamed. "I´ll KILL YOU ALL!"
Power surged from him, swelling and gathering as he continued to scream incoherently.
"Deimos.. Meguinis.." Phobos held her sister in her arms, too much in shock to do a thing.
"MOVE!" Liv jumped in front of the powerful energy thrust, feeling something snap like a twig. Her next breath brought pain as the registered broken ribs screamed.
His face twisted in a sneer as his laughter broke out jagged. "Such foolishness…"
        Liv´s lips moved. "Ama…Amaltheia… Power…"
He moved toward her slowly as she closed her eyes.
"Make..up.." She whispered. It was déjà vu, unable to save those who she should´ve been able to.
Power filled her, something in her that flew open her eyes as she gasped as upon her forehead blazed the symbol of Jupiter.
"Amaltheia Screensaver!" Her hands pressed up, the energy exuberated from her stronger than she had ever felt. The shield surged up and around them, sweeping forward to the injured Vulcan.
Who seemed stunned to be so easily defeated. He teleported as the shield had began to burn at his clothes.
"Meguinis," Phobos rocked with her sister, looking up at Liv. "Please… help me.."
It took a while before the two finally reached Gwydion´s home. The door flew open as he stared in shock "What the hell?"
"Perdita… please, you have to help her," Liv begged. "She tried an attack she couldn´t handle."
"I told you not to do that!" Carmen´s voice was heard. "Allete, I explained it! Without the other, you cannot strike unless you want for suicide!"
"Perdita… I won´t ask you for anything, please," Liv felt her knees give out. "I couldn´t let her die… not like I had done before…" Her hands covered her face as a sob broke through. "Oh God, please don´t let her die.."
"M´kay.." A mumble came from Meguinis. "Sa´right…" She blinked, opening her eyes painfully as she gave a weak smile.
"MEGUINIS!" Allete screamed in her ear. "DON´T EVER DO THAT AGAIN!"
"Liv.." A hand brushed Liv´s hair back. Liv was suddenly aware of how sweaty she was. She tried to breathe and felt pain stab at her.
"My ribs.." Liv gave a pale smile. "He was strong.." Her eyes were glazed, looking up to gaze up at Gwdyion. "But I was stronger.. Perdita, I never felt that power before."
She fell forward and would´ve hit her forehead had Perdita not been there so easily. She wrapped her arms around her friend, pulling out the strand of beads. She seemed almost hesitant before gently placing it in Liv´s mouth.
Her body shimmered  in a white aura before she took a deep breath, having fallen asleep as a side effect.
Gwydion shuffled before pulling Perdita gently to the side. "You help with the other girl, she´s lighter. I´ll get Liv."
Perdita´s smile was bittersweet but she didn´t say anything.

Liv was dreaming, flying in a white mist as she felt free, just like she almost did when she ran. She flew through it all, thickening as her vision was blurred.  Even then, she felt free, unafraid.
She wanted to stay like this, she had just decided it before finding herself landing on a surface that was there and yet she didn´t see anything. She looked around, peering into the white until a sheen of pale yellow, nearly golden, reached her, swelling around her as she cupped her hands. To her surprise, her necklace formed, the back facing her as she stared at the Jupiter symbol.
"They would´ve wanted you to forgive them, Amaltheia," Cosmos spoke gently, though still surprising Liv.
        "What?"
"For not believing in you, for trying to ask a child to do something they knew nothing of."
        Liv´s fingers tightened.
"A family heirloom, it´s been in your family for generations. I can remember very well the original holder, a true soldier who also lost her family." Cosmos´s eyes misted over. "It is the inner strength that brings out the soldier."
Cosmos touched Liv´s face gently. "But you also have to forgive yourself, Amaltheia. It was not your fault, it had never been your fault. So much wrong but it can be saved, it always can. You have to believe in that, have hope. You still have it, Liv. Why else would you have taken that hit?"
"They would want you to be happy, Liv. Not as Amaltheia but as yourself. They believed in you, even if it seemed that they hadn´t. I can assure you, like those who believe in me, that there are those who believe in you. So you have to believe in yourself…"
She faded as the necklace opened, to reveal her family. Liv clutched it to herself. She composed herself for a moment, before looking up at through the mist. She spotted shadowed figures, as if waiting.
Her tears fell. "Daddy… Mommy… may you rest in peace." Her hand reached out before watching her fingers close toward her. "I love you, I always will. Good bye.."
The necklace snapped shut, the sound jotting her awake as she sat up wildly, blinking furiously.
Gwydion did his best to look like he just hadn´t slammed the door shut. "Sorry." He gave a weak whisper.
"It´s all right.." Liv stared at her hands before becoming startled. Her hand pressed on her chest. "My ribs..?"
"Perdita gave you one of her magical pills."
"What?" Liv stared up at him with shock. "But… she told me those were for sustaining her!"
He stared at her with a blank face.
"Oh… oh, dear, I wasn´t supposed to repeat that! Damn it, stupid, stupid, stupid!" She whacked herself angrily but before the third strike, Gwydion held her wrist tightly.
"Stop that," He softened his glare. "Headaches happen that way."
She stared at his hand before dropping her gaze. "You know, you should ask Perdita out."
He sat down on the bed, letting go of her wrist after settling. "I don´t think that´d be good. She doesn´t want to hurt anyone."
"She´s hurting herself. Why shouldn´t she be happy?" Liv crossed her arms, nodding. She did her best to look like she knew what she was saying or that she believed it.
It came to a surprise when, after looking into Gwydion´s slightly sad smile, he kissed her. Just a fragile touch. Liv´s hand automatically touched his cheek before pulling away.
"I´m sorry.." Gwydion murmured. "After living a lonely life, I understand how it is to finally feel something. You and I are a lot alike. For some reason, I´ve picked  Perdita but that doesn´t mean we can be close. How about you be my little sister?"
It took a moment. "I´m older by a year."
"Damn it, I was hoping you wouldn´t bring it up," He played false anger well before he grinned. "Fine, family then? You can take care of Grandma."
"I don´t think she needs caring," Liv giggled before flushing. "Oh, jeez. You can´t just make me family."
"Watch me!" He stood up, brushing his knees. "You should still rest, though. From what Allete said, you took a hit that should´ve killed you."
"Hm…" Liv was laying back already, falling asleep effortlessly. Gwydion paused before tucking her in.
        "Sleep well, sister."
