Black Cat: About Luna's Powers and Abilities

      Luna is a Moon cat from the planet Mau. Initially, she acted as a guide to the late Moon Queen Selenity, referred by Earthlings as the Goddess Selene and was partnered with her eventual love, Artemis.

      Then she fell to the Earth in a capsule after the fall of the Silver Millennium and sent to Juuban, Tokyo, Japan to find the Moon Princess, her mistress to guide and to mold. She had some unfortunate business to tend to - a few brats suck a bandaid to her forehead. This comes to an ability that is shown -

You really helped me out when you took those bandages off. With them on, I couldn't talk and my mental functions are slow.

      The crescent moon upon Luna's brow is an ability of speech. With it covered or as in the Sailor Stars arc, injured, she loses this ability and can only meow in protest.

      Luna has the ability to bring forth items - possibly from a pocket of space or some sort of other dimension. She doesn't exactly have pockets and this was never fully explained. It could be pure magic. For example, she brought forth Usagi's brooch to give as a 'present'.

      The following is a compilation of abilities, tricks, and alterations that Luna has shown herself doing or have done:

Producing Items EX: Act 01, Sailor Moon's first brooch
Adusting Game Machine EX: Act 03, using the Sailor V Fighter game to produce items of power
Use of a Computer EX: Act 03, also used with a headset for communication; can use said computer to manipulate attack (AKA Moon Frisbee) to 'capture' the enemy
Teleportation EX: Act 03, again, use of the computer when she tells Mercury, Mars, and Moon to gather the others
Read EX) Act 04, this is important - no cat can 'read' a newspaper
Speak a Foreign Language EX) Act 06, when opening a door to the basement control center. It's an language unknown to man
See Through Objects EX) Act 07, she saw through school bags to spy the video cassettes
Create Shields EX) Act 10, used when the team teleported to Mare Serenitatis for the first time - this is a version where she speaks a foreign language
Use Energy to Create Shield EX) Act 11, used against a brainwashed Endymion
Prayer EX) Act 12, used in place of the Princess, she prays for the power of the Moon to be awakened fully
