I Forget

I forget,
Or I remember.
It´s hard for me to decide.
The memories are there,
Always buried, always there.
I can look back,
I draw many blanks.
What was then,
I know what is.
Yet my memory fails,
As my heart twists.
Memories are precious,
Yet I forget.
I think I can remember,
But then I remember the truth.
I wish to forget,
But I don´t want too.
My memories are mine,
I can´t see them anymore.
I feel the pain and suffer,
That the feeling leave behind.
I can´t remember sometimes,
I wish I could if for the good.
What good comes of the past,
I forget.
I forget all the time,
Day of day, by and by.
I remember in a moment,
And in a lifetime I forget.
I wish and I dream,
But I want to forget.
I want to accept,
But until I do, I forget.
