I wait beneath the clouds,
As I send my prayers above.
In hopes of being heard,
Of being seen as who I am.
My heart is beating,
Is he here or am I still to wait?

I cry sometimes,
The loneliness biting deep into my soul.
I dream and dream, only to awaken to the truth.
Am I worth it,
