Walk

I walked this universe
I walked this Earth
And I walked this soil.
Covered by the steps of millions before me
And the millions ahead of me.
I fight among the stars
In search of a buried dream
In the flames of darkness
And the cold grip of lonliness.

I walked the same as my brethren
Who I have come from.
And the descendents of my soul
Who I will create with time.
I know not of who I am
Or what I am
Only that I will wander the same path
of the millions who live as me and are me.

We are I
I am all
Yet my identity
Lost though it may be
Is found in those footsteps
Of the thousands of millions
Of that which time will claim
And will create.

So do not cry, heavens
I hear this final call
Of light and dark of the soul
and Heart that will crumble into nothing.
Only to continue to wander the path of the living
and of the light of something brighter.
